Most of the models are the same in terms of design and construction. The specifications and features make a difference. So you should understand first about the different parts and accessories and their functionalities. When you know all the functionalities of a circular saw, then it would be fun for you to use it.
It is important to take some basic safety precautions. Before starting the workout, you need to wear aprons, gloves, and goggles to protect you from getting hurt. If you have seen for a long time, consider wearing earmuffs as well.
Measure As Well As Mark The Materials You Want To Cut
Use a ruler or a carpenter’s ruler and a pencil, pencil or a felt-tip pen to draw a straight line where you want to cut the fabric. These lines serve as visual support to guide the blade during use. So make sure you’re brave enough to be seen clearly.
Put Your Equipment On A Table Saw
Make sure that the material to be cut is properly supported and underneath. In this way, you do not need to be worried about the materials. Because it won’t pass through the work surface. So if you do not put your equipment on the blade, then it won’t be damaged anyway.
Adjust The Blade According To The Expected Depth Of Cut
Pull the lever of the claw between the two handles to release the base plate and move freely. And then, put the base plate with respect to the material. Later, up and down the blade as far as possible directly under the material to be cut.
Adjust The Aerial Ladder So That The Cutting Blade Is At An Angle
Now you need to turn the knob of the saw anticlockwise for unlocking the scale around the saw blade. Then you need to set the scale to one of the standard angles in the frame. You also can turn it off for making custom cut. If you are pleased with the preset angle, then you can turn it on clockwise for locking the scale.
Operate The Saw Smoothly And Carefully
Use both hands to maneuver the saw along the cutting line. Make sure that the right side of the notch in the base plate always stays aligned with your cutting line. You can’t force the saw anyway. You have to get off forcing the saw. On the other hand, you have to hold it at a mild and natural speed. With a mild speed, your materials won’t be damaged.
Remove The Plug From The Saw When You No Longer Need It
You have to make sure that the knife guard is placed in the right position. After being sure, you have to disconnect the saw by simply displacing the power cord from the source. Finally, store the circular saw carefully until next use.
